Privacy policy
How I handle your information.
Robert House, at [Mailing address], is responsible for the personal information described here. Questions can be sent to robert@roberthouse.consulting.
What I collect
- Details you submit through the contact form and resource forms, such as name, work email, company and message.
- Basic, privacy-respecting page statistics from a self-hosted analytics tool that does not use advertising cookies.
Why I collect it
I use your details to reply to your enquiry, to send a resource you requested, and, only with your consent, to send occasional related emails. I do not sell or rent personal information.
Consent and unsubscribing
I send marketing email only where you have given express consent, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. Every message includes a working unsubscribe link, and you can also write to me at any time to withdraw consent.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are processed by a self-hosted workflow and stored on infrastructure in Canada. [Confirm the host and location before publishing.]
Retention
I keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. Email list records are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you by contacting me at robert@roberthouse.consulting. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Client data
Information that clients share during an engagement is covered by the engagement agreement and any confidentiality agreement, and is handled separately from website data.
